The area is here for what ever you need to have placed in here. The Extra Content spaces are vital to give a Rapidweaver site a less of a manufactured look and more of a steam line website. The Extra Content areas make designing easier.

The important thing to know about Extra Content is that it will not work if you do not have all of them placed in the the sidebar or where ever you have placed them. ALL MUST BE there. Once you have them placed it is recommended to actually do the editing in the editing mode for example, if you are in the preview mode and are editing your Extra Content in the Page Editor Sidebar you are going to run into problems. The site will constantly update if you ever stop typing and this will make even typing three letters very difficult.

The Extra Content will also come in handy if you want to place ads on your site. You can use them to place images to have link to other sites or you can just use them to show some extra images. It is recommended to just use the banner image option if you are trying to place an image in the banner area.

With Plus kit you can place the contact form at the bottom of the page or you could even embed a map at the bottom. The possibilities really lie in how much creativity you have and how you are going to use it. It is all up to you. These options are one of the many cool features offered in Canari.
